KH System Möbel GmbH was established by Klaus Flint and Herbert Tönsing with its headquarters in Bünde (North Rhine-Westphalia) for the manufacture and distribution of fitted kitchens

The company moved to its newly constructed production and administration building in Melle-Bruchmühlen (Lower Saxony)

The new exhibition centre was added and the production and storage areas expanded

A new production hall was built / The company switched to manufacturing kitchens with a 19 mm thick corpus and an 8 mm thick back wall

Investments were made in a newly developed system to produce zero joint look edging
